EventJetter is a travel tech platform with a working product, a clear market, and no one selling it yet. That's where you come in.

The opportunity

A real product solving a real problem.

Travel agents who sell event-based trips (concerts, sports, festivals, conferences) spend 4 to 8 hours building a single package. They're cross-referencing events, tickets, hotels near the venue, flights, and pricing across a dozen tabs and systems.

EventJetter replaces that with a single planning wizard. One flow, 4 minutes, done. Pick an event, and we surface other events nearby around the same dates. We source the tickets, along with aligned hotels and flights — plus markup and a client-ready proposal.

The MVP is built and working. We're demoing to agencies now. What we need is someone who can take this product to market.

Why this exists

Built by someone who grew up in the industry.

EventJetter was founded by Robert Stumborg, who grew up at Thunderbird Travel, his dad's agency in Saskatoon. By the time he was 10, he was the office IT guy: managing the network, running outbound campaigns, and fixing whatever broke.

After 18 years building software across fintech, edtech, and e-commerce, he came back to solve the problem he grew up watching: travel agents stuck with tools that don't match how they actually work.

This isn't a founder who read a market report and picked a vertical. This is someone who spent his childhood in the shop and understands what agents deal with daily.

Why now

Ground floor, with a foundation already laid.

You're not joining a pitch deck. The product is built. The founder has deep industry knowledge. The market is underserved and the timing is right. Event-based travel is growing, and agents need better tooling to compete.

As the first commercial hire, you'll have direct access to the founder, real influence over go-to-market strategy, and the chance to build the sales function from scratch. No layers, no politics, no legacy processes to work around.

What you'll do

  • Own outbound sales to travel agencies, host agencies, and consortia
  • Run product demos and close deals
  • Build and manage your own pipeline from scratch
  • Be the voice of the customer back to product. What you hear in sales calls directly shapes what we build.
  • Help define the go-to-market playbook. You'll be writing it, not inheriting one.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally closing deals in the $5K-$50K ACV range
  • Travel industry experience is a strong plus, but not required. We care more about your ability to learn a market and build relationships fast.
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting: cold email, LinkedIn, industry events, phone
  • Self-starter who thrives without a playbook
  • Clear communicator who can translate product capabilities into business value for non-technical buyers
